We Exist to Connect People to Jesus and Each Other

Christ Church, Manipal is a vibrant, Christian fellowship committed to worship, teaching, and service. Established to serve the growing community of believers in and around Manipal, the church is a welcoming home for people from diverse backgrounds, cultures, and nationalities.

Services

At Christ Church, Manipal, our worship and ministry life is rooted in the teachings of Jesus Christ and the traditions of the Christian faith. We joyfully serve God and our community through the following services:

Sunday Worship Service

A time of prayer, praise, Scripture reading, and a Bible-based sermon to glorify God and strengthen our faith.

Holy Communion (Eucharist)

Celebrated regularly to remember the sacrifice of Jesus Christ and partake in the bread and cup as a community of believers.

Baptism Services

Welcoming individuals into the family of Christ through the sacrament of baptism, in accordance with Biblical teaching.

Wedding Ceremonies

Conducting Christian marriage services in the presence of God, with prayer and blessings for the couple’s new journey.

Funeral & Memorial Services

Offering comfort, prayer, and pastoral care to families in times of loss, and remembering loved ones in faith.

Community Outreach

Serving the local community through acts of kindness, charity drives, and support for those in need.

Altar Boys Sodality

An altar server is a lay assistant to a member of the clergy during a Christian religious service. An altar server attends to supporting tasks at the altar such as fetching and carrying, ringing the altar bell, helping bring up the gifts, and bringing up the liturgical books, among other things.

Young Catholic Students

YCS is a student movement where young people come together in small groups of 8–10 to share their interests, problems, experiences, and anxieties, and to find solutions through the YCS methodology of See, Judge, and Act – i.e. Awareness, Reflection, Action, and Evaluation.

Indian Catholic Youth Movement

ICYM is a parochial youth movement under the aegis of the CCBI Commission for Youth, focused at animating a holistic growth of all the youth under the Latin rite parishes in India. It works as the National Youth Animating Organization.
