Independence Day & Solemnity of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary

On August 15th, Christ Church celebrated India’s Independence Day along with the Solemnity of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary. The day began with a special Holy Mass, giving thanks to God for our nation and honouring Our Lady’s heavenly assumption. After the service, the congregation gathered for the flag hoisting ceremony, accompanied by the singing of the National Anthem and prayers for peace, unity, and prosperity of our country.
